The RAVEN Midnight Dreary is a full-bodied, med/full strength 6x52 belicoso toro. Wrapper is a silky 10-year-aged vintage Corojo rosado. Fillers are secret...but are all aged between 7-9 years.

First light is a wave of dark chocolate, cloves, black peppercorn, tanned leather, and coffee beans. Maple sweetness appears on the finish with hints of nutmeg, all-spice, and toasted whiskey barrel. The retrohale adds a warming jalapeño burn.

As it progresses, a very Cubanesque style creaminess develops. Layers of warm caramel and hazelnut emerge. The finish is clean adding flavors of black tea and honey.

Halfway, the blend continues to build and intensify! Spiced rum, dried fruit, and buttercream are added. Very creamy milk chocolate notes are added, balanced perfectly by cedar wood, almond, and licorice. Amazingly delicious!

Last third, the flavors go off the charts! Big notes of chocolate pudding, espresso, and raw cane sugar appear. Aged tobacco taste (amazing, but hard to describe), cinnamon stick, red pepper, and earth wash over palate on the finish. The cigar is cool and the burn is perfect all the way to the nub. You will burn your lips on this one!

The RAVEN Midnight Dreary is an absolute achievement! A masterpiece! The complexity, power, and sophistication are so good that words don't do them justice...you'll have to smoke it to understand!
