Why This Cigar? 

The Illusione Epernay Serie 2009 was introduced in 2008 as a limited release for European Cigar Cult Journal. As it garnered high ratings it became a regular offering for the Illusione brand, created by Dion Giolito, a Nevada retailer. With its combination of Criollo and Corojo tobaccos, and a superior Cafe Rosado wrapper, the Epernay is floral, creamy and complex. This boutique cigar is made with all Nicaraguan tobaccos at the famous Raices Cubanas factory. The cigar has earned #3 on Cigar Aficionado's Best Cigars of 2011 listing.
